Context of the Interview

Introduction
This interview was conducted as an exploratory study, allowing us to gain initial insights from the case owner's perspective. Our goal was to understand the background, needs, pain points, and daily routines of the case owner.

Interview Details
The interview was taken on February 13th at 15:00 at the participant's house. The meeting was conducted by three interviewers. After obtaining consent, the participant signed the consent form. The information of interview was established using both audio recording and note-taking. We wanted to begin with an ice-breaking activity where two interviewers and the participant wrote down key personal information on name tags at the same time and one interviewer took notes. This was not possible because we decided to start the interview outside and go for a walk. This made it a nice and less formal environment to have a conversation. It helped establish trust and create a comfortable environment for sharing. When returning to her house the conversion kept going and beyond traditional chatting, we incorporated a Lego-based activity to visually explore Steffie’s experiences and priorities for specific activities. The participant using different colored Lego blocks to indicate:
-
Blue - How much energy does it take?
-
Yellow - How happy do you get from it?
-
Red - How much time does it take?
-
White - How much time do you like to spend on it?
