Sophie

I used to be a full-time Pilates instructor, but now balancing work and caring for Liam. As we are an international family, I want Liam to learn both Dutch and Portuguese and understand different cultural backgrounds. I care a lot about his early development, but with so much information out there, it’s hard to know what’s best. I strongly avoid exposing Liam to screens (at least for the first two years), so I need more alternative activities to stimulate his development.  - Sophie

Pain Points
  • Sleep deprivation – Liam wakes up every 20-25 minutes, preventing her from resting properly.

  • Finding effective play activities – Overwhelmed by online information and unsure what is truly beneficial.

  • Lonely & Limited social– WhatsApp groups exist, but most moms are unavailable for in-person meetings.

  • Conflicting advice – Parenting apps and online sources provide mixed guidance, leading to making decisions much harder.

  • Household workload – Managing childcare and household chores leaves her with little time for personal well-being.

  • Forgetfulness & Mental Load – Sophie often forgets small but important tasks.

Needs
  • Improve Liam’s sleep routine – Reduce night awakenings so both she and Liam can get better rest.

  • Find suitable, age-appropriate play activities.

  • Expand her social network – Wants to connect with other mothers and help Liam socialize with other babies.

  • Better memory support – Needs tools to help track daily tasks to reduce forgetfulness and mental load.
